Castleberry High School Parents,
Beginning Tuesday, October 4th through Friday, October 7th, 2016, Castleberry High School will implement extra safety measures on our campus due to recent social media postings concerning north Texas schools.  During school hours, the following safety measures will be in place:

1)      The front door of the school will be locked, and parents will need to call 817-252-2100 (the front office) to verify identity.  Once verified, one of the office staff members will open the door.
2)     During school hours, no parents will be allowed past the front office or foyer area.

We apologize about the inconvenience this may cause; however, we take the safety and security of students very seriously. Thank you for your cooperation throughout the week.

Sincerely,
 Dr. Amy Ellis
Castleberry High School Principal

The Spring months have brought our students many opportunities. On April 19th, our upperclassmen attended a session put on by Burlington-Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad who encouraged students to ‘stay on track’ and stay in school. The Ogle school of Beauty came to talk with students about the different certifications they offer students in the area of cosmetology (hair, skin, and nails). We held coffee with counselors on April 21st, where Tarrant County College came and spoke to our parents about the programs they offer both students and families.
On May 5th we are excited to welcome a motivational speaker, Liz Murray to Castleberry High School to deliver a speech titled: ‘From Homeless to Harvard.” All students will have the opportunity to hear her speak next week. For more information follow Liz on Twitter; @Liz_Murray.
We are taking a bus of 45 students to Tarrant County College (TCC )next week to take their college entrance exam, otherwise known as the Texas Success Initiative assessment (TSI). Oportunidades Primavera 2016
